It's always on my birthday that I get a little sad. It's like a mild version of New Years for me. I always get emotional during this time. I don't adapt to change well. And even though I don't feel any different, I know I am different. I've always been afraid of getting old. I've been afraid of who and what I'm going to lose in the future, and all the things I am going to miss in a few years. I'm afraid of losing my parents and my brother. Haha, what a pessimistic way to celebrate a birthday. And today has been wonderful day! I got a lot of birthday money, and a lot of birthday hugs and cards, etc. I know I have a family that loves me and I am very thankful for them.But I wonder if it's always going to be like that. Correction- I know it's not going to be like that. These are the things I think about the last couple hours before my birthday. Probably the worst moments of the year...
